How To Install libjstun-java on Ubuntu 22.04

What is libjstun-java
libjstun-java is:
“JSTUN” is a Java-based STUN (Simple Traversal of User Datagram Protocol (UDP) Through Network Address Translation (NAT)) implementation.
STUN provides a mean for applications to discover the presence and type of firewalls or NATs between them and the public Internet. Additionally, in presence of a NAT STUN can be used by applications to learn the public Internet Protocol (IP) address assigned to the NAT.
There are three methods to install libjstun-java
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install libjstun-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libjstun-java

After updating apt database, We can install libjstun-java

Install libjstun-java Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libjstun-java
using aptitude

How To Uninstall libjstun-java on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the libjstun-java
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libjstun-java
Uninstall libjstun-java And Its Dependencies

and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libjstun-java
Remove libjstun-java Configurations and Data
To remove libjstun-java
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libjstun-java
Remove libjstun-java configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
