Java library with optimized versions of compute kernels used in genomics applications like GATK and HTSJDK. These kernels are optimized to run on Intel Architecture (AVX, AVX2, AVX-512, multicore, and FPGA) under 64-bit Linux.

There are three methods to install libgkl-java on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libgkl-java Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libgkl-java using apt-get by running the following command:
