What is libgdcm-cil

libgdcm-cil is:

Grassroots DiCoM is a C++ library for DICOM medical files. It is automatically wrapped to python/C#/Java (using swig). It supports RAW,JPEG (lossy/lossless),J2K,JPEG-LS, RLE and deflated.

CLI bindings to the GDCM DICOM library. It allows developers to use GDCM from C# environment.

There are three methods to install libgdcm-cil on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libgdcm-cil Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libgdcm-cil using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libgdcm-cil

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
