How To Install libervia-cli on Ubuntu 22.04

What is libervia-cli
libervia-cli is:
Libervia is a multi-frontends, multi-purposes communication tool, based on the XMPP standard. It features:
- instant messaging

- interaction with other networks (IRC, StatusNet, other XMPP networks)
- email client access (use your favorite mail user agent (MUA) to communicate on the supported networks)

This package contains libervia-cli, Libervia’s command-line interface.

Update apt database with apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install libervia-cli

using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libervia-cli

by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libervia-cli
Install libervia-cli Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libervia-cli
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libervia-cli
How To Uninstall libervia-cli on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the libervia-cli
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libervia-cli
Uninstall libervia-cli And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libervia-cli
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libervia-cli
Remove libervia-cli Configurations and Data
To remove libervia-cli
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libervia-cli
Remove libervia-cli configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
