What is libcoda-jni

libcoda-jni is:

The Common Data Access framework allows reading of scientific data from various data formats, including structured ascii, structured binary, XML, netCDF, CDF, HDF4, HDF5, GRIB, RINEX and SP3. It provides a single consistent hierarchical view on data independent of the underlying storage format.

This package contains Java Native Interface (JNI) needed to use CODA.

There are three methods to install libcoda-jni on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libcoda-jni Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libcoda-jni using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libcoda-jni

Install libcoda-jni Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libcoda-jni using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install libcoda-jni

Install libcoda-jni Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install libcoda-jni using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libcoda-jni

How To Uninstall libcoda-jni on Ubuntu 22.04

To uninstall only the libcoda-jni package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libcoda-jni

Uninstall libcoda-jni And Its Dependencies

To uninstall libcoda-jni and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libcoda-jni

Remove libcoda-jni Configurations and Data

To remove libcoda-jni configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge libcoda-jni

Remove libcoda-jni configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove libcoda-jni configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
