How To Install libclc-amdgcn on Ubuntu 22.04

What is libclc-amdgcn
libclc-amdgcn is:
libclc is an open implementation of the OpenCL C programming language, as specified by the OpenCL 1.1 Specification.
This package contains support for the amdgcn (AMD GPU) platform. Supported GPU families: Southern Islands and newer.
There are three methods to install libclc-amdgcn
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libclc-amdgcn Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libclc-amdgcn
using apt-get

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libclc-amdgcn
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libclc-amdgcn
Install libclc-amdgcn Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libclc-amdgcn

How To Uninstall libclc-amdgcn on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the libclc-amdgcn
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libclc-amdgcn
Uninstall libclc-amdgcn And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libclc-amdgcn
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libclc-amdgcn
Remove libclc-amdgcn Configurations and Data
To remove libclc-amdgcn
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libclc-amdgcn
Remove libclc-amdgcn configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libclc-amdgcn
