How To Install kvirc-modules on Ubuntu 22.04

What is kvirc-modules
kvirc-modules is:
A highly configurable graphical IRC client with an MDI interface, built-in scripting language, support for IRC DCC, drag & drop file browsing, and much more. KVIrc uses the KDE widget set, can be extended using its own scripting language, integrates with KDE, and supports custom plugins.
This package contains all modules for KVIrc.
There are three methods to install kvirc-modules on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install kvirc-modules Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install kvirc-modules using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install kvirc-modules

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install kvirc-modules using apt by running the following command:

Install kvirc-modules Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install kvirc-modules using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall kvirc-modules on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the kvirc-modules package we can use the following command:

To uninstall kvirc-modules and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove kvirc-modules

To remove kvirc-modules configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge kvirc-modules
Remove kvirc-modules configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove kvirc-modules configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge kvirc-modules
