How To Install guitarix-common on Ubuntu 22.04

In this tutorial we learn how to install guitarix-common on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is guitarix-common
guitarix-common is:
Guitarix is a rock guitar amplifier for the JACK Audio Connection Kit with one input and two outputs. It is designed to produce nice trash/metal/rock/blues guitar sounds.
Guitarix is available as a GTK+ interface and the project provides LV2 and LADSPA plugins (see the guitarix-lv2 and guitarix-ladspa packages).
This package contains Guitarix’s Architecture independent files. Examples of such shared files are: configuration files, images and sounds.
There are three methods to install guitarix-common on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install guitarix-common Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install guitarix-common using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install guitarix-common using apt by running the following command:

Install guitarix-common Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install guitarix-common using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install guitarix-common
How To Uninstall guitarix-common on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the guitarix-common package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove guitarix-common
Uninstall guitarix-common And Its Dependencies
To uninstall guitarix-common and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove guitarix-common
Remove guitarix-common Configurations and Data
To remove guitarix-common configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge guitarix-common
Remove guitarix-common configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove guitarix-common configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge guitarix-common
