What is gtk-chtheme

gtk-chtheme is:

‘Gtk Theme Switch’ based utility that aims to make themes previews and selections as slick as possible. Themes installed on the system are presented for selection and previewed on the fly.

This utility was develop only to work for GTK+ 2.x themes. For GTK+ 1.x themes use ‘gtk-theme-switch’ package

There are three methods to install gtk-chtheme on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install gtk-chtheme Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install gtk-chtheme using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
