How To Install gnome-ppp on Debian 9

What is gnome-ppp
gnome-ppp is:
GNOME PPP is an easy to use graphical dialup connection configuring and dialing tool with system tray icon support.
It uses GNOME/GTK+ for its graphical interface and integrates well in GNOME desktop environment, but it can be used in other environments.
It also uses WvDial dialer as its backend, providing simple configuration via config files. You can also use plain wvdial if you don’t have X running.
There are three methods to install gnome-ppp on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gnome-ppp Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gnome-ppp using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gnome-ppp

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install gnome-ppp using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install gnome-ppp
Install gnome-ppp Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install gnome-ppp using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install gnome-ppp
How To Uninstall gnome-ppp on Debian 9
To uninstall only the gnome-ppp package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove gnome-ppp
Uninstall gnome-ppp And Its Dependencies
To uninstall gnome-ppp and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove gnome-ppp
Remove gnome-ppp Configurations and Data
To remove gnome-ppp configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gnome-ppp
Remove gnome-ppp configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove gnome-ppp configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
