How To Install gdc on Ubuntu 22.04

What is gdc
gdc is:
This is a dependency package providing the default D compiler. Per policy, all packages that contain D sources must use this package in their Build-Depends line.
This compiler supports D language version 2.
There are three methods to install gdc
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gdc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gdc
using apt-get

sudo apt-get -y install gdc

Update apt database with apt

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install gdc
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install gdc
Install gdc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude

How To Uninstall gdc on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the gdc
package we can use the following command:

To uninstall gdc

sudo apt-get -y autoremove gdc

configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
