What is devtodo

devtodo is:

Manipulate and display a hierarchical (ie “subtasks”) and prioritised list of things with a coloured command line interface.

Using devtodos output formatting features, it is possible to convert the todo list into almost any text format.

Devtodo comes with XSLT stylesheets to convert XML .todo files to HTML and PDF, have a look at /usr/share/devtodo/.

There are three methods to install devtodo on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install devtodo Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install devtodo using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install devtodo
