How To Install asn1c-doc on Ubuntu 22.04

This ASN.1 compiler turns the formal ASN.1 specifications into the C code. The compiler is shipped together with conformant BER/DER/XER codecs. The X.509 and GSM TAP3 decoding examples are shipped as well.

There are three methods to install asn1c-doc on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install asn1c-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install asn1c-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install asn1c-doc

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install asn1c-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install asn1c-doc
Install asn1c-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install asn1c-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install asn1c-doc
How To Uninstall asn1c-doc on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the asn1c-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove asn1c-doc
Uninstall asn1c-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall asn1c-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove asn1c-doc
Remove asn1c-doc Configurations and Data
To remove asn1c-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge asn1c-doc

We can use the following command to remove asn1c-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
