Kyua is a testing framework for infrastructure software. Kyua features an expressive test suite definition language, a safe runtime engine for test programs, and a powerful report generation engine.

Kyua is able to execute test programs written in different languages, with different testing libraries. The Automated Testing Framework (ATF) is the library of choice, but Test Anything Protocol (TAP) compliant programs, and framework-less test programs can also be executed through Kyua.

There are three methods to install kyua on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install kyua Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install kyua using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install kyua

Install kyua Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install kyua using apt by running the following command:
