From a given IPv4 address calculates broadcast, network, Cisco wildcard mask, and host range. It can also be used as a teaching tool and presents the results in binary and hex values.

There are three methods to install ipqalc on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ipqalc Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
