How To Install imv on Ubuntu 22.04

What is imv
imv is:
imv is a command line image viewer for X11 and Wayland aimed at users of tiling window managers. It has native Wayland and X11 support and can handle dozens of image formats, including: PNG, BMP, JPEG, TIFF, SVG, HEIF.
The package provides the imv-x11 and x11-wayland binaries. The imv wrapper
script is installed in /usr/libexec/imv/ due to a file name clash.
There are three methods to install imv on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install imv Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install imv using apt-get by running the following command:
