How To Install gromit on Ubuntu 22.04
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install gromit on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is gromit
gromit is:
Gromit enables you to make annotations on your screen.
This is especially useful when making presentations, to highlight things or point out things of interest.
Gromit is XInput-Aware, so if you have a graphic tablet you can draw lines with different strength, color, erase things, etc.
There are three methods to install gromit on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gromit Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gromit using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gromit

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install gromit using apt by running the following command:

How To Uninstall gromit on Ubuntu 22.04

sudo apt-get -y autoremove gromit
Remove gromit Configurations and Data
To remove gromit configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gromit
