What is gfm

gfm is:

The GFM is an application allowing to manipulate single/group/tigroup files of all Texas Instruments hand-helds. It can create a new file, open an existing file, save file, rename variables, remove variables, create folders, group files into a group/tigroup file, ungroup a group/tigroup file into single files.

There are three methods to install gfm on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install gfm Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install gfm using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install gfm

Install gfm Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install gfm using apt by running the following command:
