How To Install gaupol on Ubuntu 22.04

What is gaupol
gaupol is:
Text-based subtitles are commonly used with DivX video. Gaupol supports multiple subtitle file formats and provides means of text corrections and time manipulations. Gaupol’s user interface is designed with attention to batch processing of multiple documents and convenient translating.
Supported formats are:
- Advanced Sub Station Alpha (.ssa)
- MicroDVD (.sub)
- MPL2 (.txt)
- SubRip (.srt)
- Sub Station Alpha (.ssa)
- SubViewer2 (.sub)
- TMPlayer (.txt)
VobSubs (image-based subtitles used in DVDs) are NOT supported.
There are three methods to install gaupol on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gaupol Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gaupol using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove gaupol
Remove gaupol Configurations and Data
To remove gaupol configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gaupol
