What is omnievents

omnievents is:

omniEvents enables CORBA applications to communicate through asynchronous broadcast channels rather than direct method calls. It is a small, efficient implementation of the Object Management Group’s Event Service specification designed to work with omniORB.

This package contains the CORBA Event Service daemon as a standalone executable, and the associated tools.

There are three methods to install omnievents on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install omnievents Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
