What is obexfs

obexfs is:

ObexFS uses FUSE to mount filesystems of ObexFTP capable devices either manually or in autofs style mode. It can handle all devices that the obexftp package can handle, connected via serial cable, IrDA, bluetooth or USB.

There are three methods to install obexfs on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install obexfs Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install obexfs using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install obexfs using apt by running the following command:

Install obexfs Using aptitude

sudo apt-get -y autoremove obexfs

Remove obexfs Configurations and Data

To remove obexfs configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge obexfs

Remove obexfs configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
