noVNC is a HTML5 VNC (WebSockets, Canvas) with encryption (wss://) support client that runs well in any modern browser including mobile browsers (iPhone/iPad and Android). More than 16 companies/projects have integrated noVNC into their products including Ganeti Web Manager, OpenStack, and OpenNebula.

This package contains the daemon and programs.

There are three methods to install novnc on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install novnc Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install novnc using apt-get by running the following command:
