What is nghttp2

nghttp2 is:

This package will install a set of programs implementing the HTTP/2 protocol: a standalone server (nghttp2-server), a reverse proxy (nghttp2-proxy) and a client (nghttp2-client). It provides no files on its own and is not necessary for these programs to work.

There are three methods to install nghttp2 on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install nghttp2 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

To uninstall nghttp2 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove nghttp2

Remove nghttp2 Configurations and Data

To remove nghttp2 configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge nghttp2

We can use the following command to remove nghttp2 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
