How To Install newmail on Ubuntu 22.04

What is newmail
newmail is:
The newmail program usually puts itself in the background and watches mailbox files in order to report when new mail has been arrived. The originator and subject will then be reported on the terminal it was started. The output can also be integrated in graphical programs.
This package is inspired by the newmail program from the Elm mail system.
There are three methods to install newmail on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install newmail Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

To uninstall newmail and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove newmail
Remove newmail Configurations and Data
To remove newmail configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge newmail
