How To Install netplan.io on Ubuntu 22.04

In this tutorial we learn how to install netplan.io on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is netplan.io
netplan.io is:
netplan reads YAML network configuration files which are written by administrators, installers, cloud image instantiations, or other OS deployments. During early boot it then generates backend specific configuration files in /run to hand off control of devices to a particular networking daemon.
Currently supported backends are networkd and NetworkManager.
There are three methods to install netplan.io on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install netplan.io Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install netplan.io using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install netplan.io

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
