How To Install ndiff on Ubuntu 22.04

Ndiff is a tool to aid in the comparison of Nmap scans. It takes two Nmap XML output files and prints the differences between them them: hosts coming up and down, ports becoming open or closed, and things like that. It can produce output in human-readable text or machine-readable XML formats.
There are three methods to install ndiff on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ndiff Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ndiff using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ndiff
Install ndiff Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ndiff using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ndiff
Install ndiff Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

How To Uninstall ndiff on Ubuntu 22.04

sudo apt-get -y autoremove ndiff

To remove ndiff configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ndiff
