How To Install mpdris2 on Ubuntu 22.04

What is mpdris2
mpdris2 is:
mpDris2 is an implementation of the MPRIS2 media player interface as a client for MPD, allowing MPRIS2 clients to control MPD and observe its track changes via a standard D-Bus interface.
It can also respond to multimedia keys if running under GNOME, and send track-change notifications if gir1.2-notify-0.7 is installed.
There are three methods to install mpdris2
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install mpdris2 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install mpdris2
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install mpdris2

using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install mpdris2
using apt

Install mpdris2 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude

sudo aptitude update

sudo apt-get -y autoremove mpdris2

To remove mpdris2
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge mpdris2
Remove mpdris2 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
