What is kcov
kcov is:
Kcov is a code coverage tester based on bcov by Thomas Neumann. It allows collecting code coverage information from executables without special command-line arguments, and continuosly produces output from long-running applications.
Kcov, like Bcov, uses DWARF debugging information to make this possible.
There are three methods to install kcov
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install kcov Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install kcov
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install kcov
