Jnoise is a small command line JACK app generating both white and pink noise. Both noise sources produce have a Gaussion amplitude distribution, and output a signal at -20dB RMS ref. a full scale sine wave.

There are three methods to install jnoise on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install jnoise Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
