What is iog

iog is:

IOG is a network traffic grapher designed to record cumulative kB/MB/GB statistics per hour/day/month. It is intended to be simple, fast (supporting thousands of hosts), and well integrated with MRTG. Data for each host is updated hourly and HTML graphs are created. It uses a data consolidation algorithm which allows for a small, non-growing database file for each host. No external graphing libraries or executables are required.

There are three methods to install iog on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install iog Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install iog using apt-get by running the following command:
