How To Install idlestat on Ubuntu 22.04

idlestat is:
Idlestat uses kernel FTRACE function to monitor and capture C-state and P-state transitions of CPUs over a time interval. It calculates the total, average, min and max times spend in each C-state, P-state for each CPU and in each CPU cluster. It also reports the times specific IRQs caused the CPU to exit idle state, per CPU and per-IRQ.
There are three methods to install idlestat on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install idlestat Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install idlestat using apt-get by running the following command:
