How To Install hpanel on Ubuntu 22.04

What is hpanel
hpanel is:
Hpanel is hacked version of fspanel, a small panel that lists your windows and allows you to switch workspaces. It requires a window manager that is compliant with the NETWM specification. It works nicely with pekwm and aewm++, and handles maximized windows better than fspanel.
There are three methods to install hpanel on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install hpanel Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install hpanel using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install hpanel

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install hpanel using apt by running the following command:

Install hpanel Using aptitude

How To Uninstall hpanel on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the hpanel package we can use the following command:

To uninstall hpanel and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove hpanel
Remove hpanel Configurations and Data
To remove hpanel configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge hpanel
Remove hpanel configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove hpanel configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge hpanel
