Golint differs from govet. Govet is concerned with correctness, whereas golint is concerned with coding style. Golint is in use at Google, and it seeks to match the accepted style of the open source Go project.
There are three methods to install golint on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install golint Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install golint using apt-get by running the following command:
