How To Install gdebi on Ubuntu 22.04

on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is gdebi
gdebi is:
gdebi lets you install local deb packages resolving and installing its dependencies. apt does the same, but only for remote (http, ftp) located packages.
The package is also scanned via lintian before the install and its possible to inspect the control and data members of the packages.
This package contains the graphical user interface.
There are three methods to install gdebi
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gdebi Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gdebi
using apt-get
by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install gdebi

Install gdebi Using aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install gdebi

How To Uninstall gdebi on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the gdebi
package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove gdebi

sudo apt-get -y purge gdebi
