How To Install flog on Ubuntu 22.04
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install flog on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is flog
flog is:
flog (file logger) reads input from STDIN and writes to a file. When a SIGHUP is received, the file will be reopened, allowing for log rotation.
There are three methods to install flog on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install flog Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install flog using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install flog

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install flog using apt by running the following command:

Install flog Using aptitude

sudo apt-get -y purge flog
