What is qbittorrent-nox

qbittorrent-nox is:

BitTorrent client written in C++ and based on libtorrent-rasterbar. qBittorrent-nox is a version of qBittorrent (Qt5 application) that does not require X and can be controlled via a WebUI, thus is more suitable for headless servers. It is a feature rich but lightweight client that is very similar to rTorrent. Its main features are:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install qbittorrent-nox using apt by running the following command:

Install qbittorrent-nox Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install qbittorrent-nox using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install qbittorrent-nox

How To Uninstall qbittorrent-nox on Ubuntu 20.04

To remove qbittorrent-nox configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge qbittorrent-nox

Remove qbittorrent-nox configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove qbittorrent-nox configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge qbittorrent-nox
