This package is a dependency package, which depends on Debian’s default PHP version (currently 7.4).

Install php-snmp Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install php-snmp using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall php-snmp on Ubuntu 20.04

To uninstall only the php-snmp package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove php-snmp

Uninstall php-snmp And Its Dependencies

To uninstall php-snmp and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove php-snmp

Remove php-snmp Configurations and Data

To remove php-snmp configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge php-snmp

Remove php-snmp configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
