This package is a dependency package, which depends on Debian’s default PHP version (currently 7.4).

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install php-gmp using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install php-gmp

How To Uninstall php-gmp on Ubuntu 20.04

To uninstall only the php-gmp package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove php-gmp

Uninstall php-gmp And Its Dependencies

To uninstall php-gmp and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove php-gmp

Remove php-gmp Configurations and Data

To remove php-gmp configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge php-gmp
