What is light-locker

light-locker is:

light-locker is a simple screen locker that aims to have simple, sane, secure defaults and be well integrated with the desktop while not carrying any desktop-specific dependencies.

It relies on lightdm for locking and unlocking your session via ConsoleKit/UPower or logind/systemd.

There are three methods to install light-locker on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install light-locker Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install light-locker using apt-get by running the following command:
