How To Install light-locker on Ubuntu 20.04

What is light-locker
light-locker is:
light-locker is a simple screen locker that aims to have simple, sane, secure defaults and be well integrated with the desktop while not carrying any desktop-specific dependencies.
It relies on lightdm for locking and unlocking your session via ConsoleKit/UPower or logind/systemd.
There are three methods to install light-locker on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install light-locker Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install light-locker using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install light-locker using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install light-locker
Install light-locker Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install light-locker using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the light-locker package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove light-locker

To remove light-locker configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge light-locker
