How To Install libnotify-dev on Ubuntu 20.04

What is libnotify-dev
libnotify-dev is:
A library that sends desktop notifications to a notification daemon, as defined in the Desktop Notifications spec. These notifications can be used to inform the user about an event or display some form of information without getting in the user’s way.
This package contains the include files and static library.

Install libnotify-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libnotify-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libnotify-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
