How To Install colortail on Ubuntu 20.04

In this tutorial we learn how to install colortail
on Ubuntu 20.04.
What is colortail
colortail is:
colortail works like tail but can optionally read one or more config files where it’s specified which patterns results in which colors. Colortail uses regular expressions (see regex(7)) to determine which lines and parts of lines to print in which colors.
There are three methods to install colortail
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install colortail Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
