Clazy is a Clang plugin which extends the compiler with over 50 warnings related to Qt best practices ranging from unneeded memory allocations to API misuse. It’s an opensource project spawned by KDAB’s R&D efforts for better C++ tooling.

There are three methods to install clazy on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install clazy Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install clazy using apt-get by running the following command:
