How To Install fastqtl-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

What is fastqtl-doc
fastqtl-doc is:
The goal of FastQTL is to identify single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) which are significantly associated with various molecular phenotypes (i.e. expression of known genes, cytosine methylation levels, etc). It performs scans for all possible phenotype-variant pairs in cis (i.e. variants located within a specific window around a phenotype). FastQTL implements a new permutation scheme (Beta approximation) to accurately and rapidly correct for multiple-testing at both the genotype and phenotype levels.
This package provides documentation and example data to work with FastQTL.
There are three methods to install fastqtl-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fastqtl-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install fastqtl-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fastqtl-doc

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install fastqtl-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install fastqtl-doc

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

How To Uninstall fastqtl-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
