What is erlang-lager

erlang-lager is:

Lager (as in the beer) is a logging framework for Erlang. Its purpose is to provide a more traditional way to perform logging in an erlang application that plays nicely with traditional UNIX logging tools like logrotate and syslog.

There are three methods to install erlang-lager on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install erlang-lager Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install erlang-lager using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install erlang-lager

Install erlang-lager Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install erlang-lager using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install erlang-lager

Install erlang-lager Using aptitude
