How To Install elpa-undercover on Ubuntu 18.04

What is elpa-undercover
elpa-undercover is:
This package provides a test coverage tools for Emacs packages.
Important notes about undercover.el:
- it assumes a certain development cycle of your package;
- it doesn’t support test coverage for byte-compiled files;
- it is based on edebug and may have some issues with macros coverage;
- it doesn’t support Circular Objects.
There are three methods to install elpa-undercover
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install elpa-undercover Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install elpa-undercover

Install elpa-undercover Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install elpa-undercover
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install elpa-undercover
How To Uninstall elpa-undercover on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the elpa-undercover
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove elpa-undercover
Uninstall elpa-undercover And Its Dependencies
To uninstall elpa-undercover
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove elpa-undercover
