What is elpa-swiper

elpa-swiper is:

Swiper gives an overview of the current regex search candidates. The search regex can be split into groups with a space. Each group is highlighted with a different face.

It can double as a quick regex-builder; however, only single lines will be matched. Swiper uses Ivy to show an overview of all matches.

There are three methods to install elpa-swiper on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install elpa-swiper Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install elpa-swiper using apt-get by running the following command:
