What is elpa-flycheck

elpa-flycheck is:

Flycheck uses various syntax checking and linting tools to automatically check the contents of buffers while the user types, and reports warnings and errors directly in the buffer, or in an optional error list.

It is intended to replace the older Flymake which is part of Emacs core.

There are three methods to install elpa-flycheck on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install elpa-flycheck Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
