How To Install ejabberd-mod-webpresence on Ubuntu 18.04

This module allows any local user of the ejabberd server to publish his presence information on the web. This module is the successor of Igor Goryachev’s mod_presence.

No web server, database, additional libraries or programs are required.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ejabberd-mod-webpresence using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ejabberd-mod-webpresence
Install ejabberd-mod-webpresence Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ejabberd-mod-webpresence using aptitude by running the following command:
