How To Install doc-rfc on Ubuntu 18.04

What is doc-rfc
doc-rfc is:
RFC (Request for Comments) documents are a series of technical and organizational notes about the Internet. They are edited by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).
This is a metapackage that pulls in the new doc-rfc-xxx packages (those that most closely correspond to the old doc-rfc package).
It can be removed if users want just a subset of the RFCs.
There are three methods to install doc-rfc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install doc-rfc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install doc-rfc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install doc-rfc

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install doc-rfc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install doc-rfc
Install doc-rfc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install doc-rfc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install doc-rfc
How To Uninstall doc-rfc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the doc-rfc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove doc-rfc
Uninstall doc-rfc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall doc-rfc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove doc-rfc
Remove doc-rfc Configurations and Data
To remove doc-rfc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge doc-rfc
Remove doc-rfc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove doc-rfc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge doc-rfc
