What is doc-rfc

doc-rfc is:

RFC (Request for Comments) documents are a series of technical and organizational notes about the Internet. They are edited by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).

This is a metapackage that pulls in the new doc-rfc-xxx packages (those that most closely correspond to the old doc-rfc package).

It can be removed if users want just a subset of the RFCs.

There are three methods to install doc-rfc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install doc-rfc Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
