How To Install davical-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

The DAViCal CalDAV Server is designed to store CalDAV calendars and CardDAV addressbooks, such as those from Evolution, Sunbird/Lightning, Mulberry, iCal, iPhone or SOHO Organizer, in a central location, providing shared calendars, free/busy publication and a basic administration interface.
This package contains detailed technical documentation for the classes and methods in the DAViCal programs. Some user-centric configuration documentation is also included.
There are three methods to install davical-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install davical-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install davical-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install davical-doc

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install davical-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install davical-doc
Install davical-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install davical-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install davical-doc
How To Uninstall davical-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the davical-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove davical-doc
Uninstall davical-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall davical-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove davical-doc
Remove davical-doc Configurations and Data
To remove davical-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge davical-doc
Remove davical-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove davical-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge davical-doc
